About Us

Who We Are

Atlas Wrestling Academy is where kids grow—on and off the mat. We work with athletes in grades K through 8 to build strong foundations, one session at a time. Our focus goes beyond takedowns and drills. We’re here to help kids develop confidence, resilience, and teamwork that lasts.

We offer youth wrestling training twice weekly in 12-week blocks, grouped by age for developmentally appropriate coaching. Small group sizes ensure each wrestler gets the attention they need to improve at their own pace. More than a training facility, Atlas is a place kids want to return season after season.

Founder Of
Atlas Wrestling Academy

My name is Shawn Fausey. I am the founder of Atlas Wrestling Academy. I started wrestling in 3rd grade. I wrestled at Line Mountain High School in Pennsylvania. My high school career record was 139-38. I took 7th place and 2nd place in the state of Pennsylvania as a junior and senior. I went on to wrestle at Drexel University from 2007-2011. I look forward to teaching the skills I have learned over the years to youth wrestlers.

Lasting Skills, Lasting Impact

We focus on teaching skills that hold up long-term. Quick wins matter less than sustainable progress. Our coaches layer development from one season to the next so no one starts over. Whether a child is just beginning or building leadership, we're here to guide them at every stage.

The Atlas Philosophy

Our mission is centered on the idea that the journey matters. While other clubs chase medals, we invest in growth. We build technique first and nurture a love for the sport. When kids understand the process, they become better wrestlers—and even better people.

Connected, Not Competitive

Wrestling may be an individual sport, but our room runs like a team. Everyone trains with everyone, and we emphasize helping one another grow. Respect, accountability, and support are built into every practice.
